  • Grill or skillet

  • Mixing bowl

  • 1 lb ground beef (80/20 blend for best flavor)

  • 4 Purple Glamburger Bunz

  • 4 slices of brie cheese

  • Fresh arugula

  • Salt and pepper to taste

  • Cooking oil (if using skillet)

  • 1 cup mixed berries (fresh or frozen)

  • 1/4 cup sugar

  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice

  • 1 teaspoon cornstarch dissolved in 1 tablespoon water



Prepare the Berry Compote:

In a small saucepan, combine the berries, sugar, and lemon juice. Cook over medium heat. Once the berries start to break down and the mixture boils, add the dissolved cornstarch to thicken. Stir well. Reduce heat and simmer until the compote has thickened, about 5-7 minutes. Set aside to cool.

Prepare the Burger Patties:

Divide the ground beef into 4 equal portions. Shape each into a patty that’s slightly larger than your bun, as they will shrink while cooking. Season both sides with salt and pepper.
